Diversity and Inclusion

Mission Statement

The Strategic Committee on Diversity and Inclusion is responsible for advising and supporting the Board and the administration in their efforts to enhance diversity and inclusion among the university's key constituency groups. This includes:

• acting as a resource for the administration and other Board committees;
• promoting diversity and inclusion in university and board activities; and
• assisting the Committee on Governance and Nominations in its efforts to ensure diversity in Board membership.

Approved by the Strategic Committee on Diversity and Inclusion on October 17, 2013 and approved by the Board of Trustees on October 18, 2013.
