Trustees

The George Washington University is served by 43 members of the Board of Trustees, including the president of the university, who serves as an ex officio member.  The officers of the Board include the chair, vice chair and secretary.

The Board of Trustees plays an integral role in oversight of fiscal, academic, and campus operations.  In addition, the trustees provide leadership in developing the university’s endowed resources and participate actively in George Washington’s strategic initiatives.
